Argus Hospitality Standard was founded by Robert and Tara Mayton to help hospitality owners see their business as guests actually experience it.
Our background is not traditional restaurant consulting — and that is intentional.
Robert’s Background:
His career has been built in industrial inspection, operational review, and asset integrity environments where small details matter, consistency matters, and missed issues can have real consequences. His work has focused on identifying problems, documenting conditions, recognizing patterns, and helping teams understand what needs attention before small issues become larger failures.
Tara’s Background:
Tara brings a healthcare perspective shaped by an environment where cleanliness, communication, safety, timing, and human interaction all affect trust. In healthcare, people notice more than what is said. They notice tone, care, cleanliness, confidence, and whether the experience feels organized or careless.
